Enhanced Partner Program Announced at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference

AssureSign LLC, a leading provider of electronic signature technology, today announced its enhanced Partner Program, which is unveiled in conjunction with Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference, held July 11 through 15 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.

AssureSign leads the electronic signature market with easy to deploy tools that can seamlessly integrate electronic signature applications with existing business tools with minimal effort. AssureSign is already pre-integrated with the Microsoft Dynamics® Suite, Microsoft SharePoint and several other Microsoft-based applications in the financial services and CRM markets.

The new AssureSign Partner Program builds upon the previous program and success with partner-developed applications and implementations. The program will provide qualified members access to a development instance of the AssureSign application, a complete API Toolkit, access to AssureSign’s developers’ web forum, attendance in training programs and technical support. The most significant feature of the new program is the ability for partners to embed AssureSign in their existing applications and transparently provide an electronic signature component for their customers. Partners will enjoy branding capabilities that will enable them to customize all user experiences for both document originators and signatories. Partners can further benefit by reselling the AssureSign application with their applications, as a means for increased top-line revenue.

The new AssureSign Partner Program will include two distinct partner classifications – Integration Partner and Reseller Partner. Integration Partners will have full access to development platforms that will enable them to build application integrations and then move them to customer production environments. Reseller Partners will have full access to ‘master reseller accounts’ that will allow them to create instances of AssureSign to deploy as needed for their customers, with complete individualized branding capabilities for each implementation.

“Our DocumentNOW® and DocumentTRAK™ API tools, which allow our partners and customers to tightly integrate with existing environments, including Microsoft applications, has been heralded by existing partners as the most comprehensive, flexible and easy to work with API Toolkit in the electronic signature market,” says David Brinkman, AssureSign’s president and chief executive officer. “Since inception our platform has been very partner-centric with the ability for partners to brand and resell AssureSign – this new set of reseller options provide out partners additional access and an even greater benefit.”

SAS-70 Type II – Why it is so important and how SAS-70 Certifications are different

clock June 29, 2010 08:55 by author Larry Torri
Larry Torri is the Vice President of Sales of AssureSign LLC.

Enterprise customers who focus on SAS-70 vendors realize that not all SAS-70 certifications are the same.  AssureSign, like some other electronic signature vendors, provides customers with the security of running their cloud-based, or SaaS, offering in a SAS-70 Type II environment.  However, other signature vendors merely host their application on other systems, located in someone else’s SAS-70 data center.  That’s great, they are SAS-70 Type II, but there is more to SAS-70 Type II certification than outsourcing your data center.  Which is why AssureSign runs our own Tier 4 (highest possible type) SAS-70 Type II data center.

AssureSign takes it to the next level.  First, we have explicit control over uptime – our own enterprise class, fully redundant (also geo-redundant) in-house data center is SAS-70 Type II certified, offering a Tier 1 level of reliability, providing our customers 99.994% uptime over the last 4 years!  Secondly, we take it to the next level with enterprise-wide SAS-70 Type II certification.

Obtaining enterprise-wide SAS-70 Type II certification means that ALL aspects of AssureSign have a specifically defined tested process and we’re audited annually to assure we adhere to those processes.   This certification includes all internal processes and systems such as software/code development, quality assurance, soft releases, human resources and billing.  Just as important are all customer facing processes such as sales, training and customer support.  The all-encompassing certification means that the way we develop our industry-leading applications and deploy them on our owned and controlled servers while supporting them in certified processes ensures the best possible level of service.

This is important to us and should be more important to our customers.   In order to provide a true enterprise-class SaaS offering, all aspects of the business need to operate in an enterprise class environment at all levels.  This is certainly exemplified by our ever-expanding enterprise-level customer base, who see the value in enterprise-wide SAS-70 Type II certification and, more importantly, understand and appreciate the difference between AssureSign and any other electronic signature vendor.

AssureSign and sister company 3PV have over 10 years of experience in providing SaaS applications, having processed 30 million transactions and over 100 million unique ‘signature events’ and we will continue to lead the field in enterprise class offerings in products, features and customer support.

Farm Bureau Insurance Finds AssureSign Electronic Signature Software An Efficient Tool for Signing Business Electronically

clock April 26, 2010 08:41 by author Sharon Fleischer

Electronic Signature Solution Increases Efficiency and Expedites Authorizations

AssureSign LLC’s Electronic Signature Technology has been selected as the electronic signature solution by Western Computer Services, Inc. (WCSI), the Software as a Service (SaaS) provider of policy management and claims management for a growing list of Farm Bureau Insurance companies.

In general, Farm Bureau Insurance markets insurance products to business and consumers in some of the most rural areas of the United States. A significant challenge to serving these regions is securing the business after a quote has been given to a potential customer; most consumers don’t have fax machines, and travel in many parts of these regions, for both the customer and the agent can be quite time consuming and cumbersome.

AssureSign’s Web-services enable WCSI to embed electronic signatures into their insurance application, for seamless integration into their existing business process. Applications are routed to the insured’s email for signature or in the agent’s office, and the signed document triggers policy creation and delivery to underwriting and imaging for archival.

Since the entire AssureSign Electronic Signature process is tracked digitally, users have a complete forensic audit trail of the delivery and signing process. This enables users to know exactly when documents are received, when they are signed, and who has or has not signed them, providing users with complete control over the signing process. With the implementation of AssureSign, Farm bureau Insurance can follow the signing process from start to finish and receive notification the moment that signing is complete.

Implementing AssureSign Web-based electronic signatures greatly helped WCSI and Farm Bureau Insurance’s customers and their agents with the customer acquisition process. The sales process has become much more timely and efficient, and the costs associated with faxing and mailing documents has been eliminated.

Philip Teagle, Application Development Director for WCSI noted, “Incorporating AssureSign’s web based electronic signature into our policy processing systems has opened up new channels for our customer’s agents to be more agile in conducting business,  and has eliminated the need for distribution and maintenance of digital signature equipment for agents using our systems.”

“The true benefits of AssureSign electronic signature applications are recognized when they are deeply integrated with existing business applications, such as Farm Bureau’s web-based policy system,” said David W. Brinkman, president and chief executive officer of AssureSign LLC. “This integration allows for document creators to automatically create documents from within existing applications, triggering front- and back-end workflow, so the entire process saves the organization both time and money.”

AssureSign for Salesforce.com v2.4 Coming Soon

clock March 17, 2010 12:00 by author Donald Kratt
Donald Kratt is the Director of Software Engineering at AssureSign, LLC

Building on the latest features released in our core SaaS application version 2.1.1, the AssureSign for Salesforce application has been converted to access the faster and more feature-rich V2 DocumentNOW® interfaces.

One powerful addition made possible by this conversion is the ability to submit documents stored in Salesforce that contain dynamically created JotBlocks™ (AssureSign signature and data collection locations and attributes).  Customers using proprietary or third party document creation processes can leverage this new feature by inserting the well-defined dynamic JotBlock tags into their documents.

Additionally, we have made it easier to integrate AssureSign with your custom objects, through providing a more complete list of available custom object fields in the parameter tagging help section, exposing custom object fields for manual selection, and providing specific custom object field mapping examples in our online documentation.

Existing AssureSign for Salesforce users will receive a notification on their application indicating when the new version is available for download; we anticipate the general release to occur on Wednesday, March 24.  AssureSign sandbox users who access their sandbox accounts in a development version of Salesforce may access the tool starting today:  please contact support@assuresign.com for information about downloading the fully functional preview version of the tool for your development environment.
